A former South Lyon City Council candidate has filed a discrimination complaint with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. Joyce Clohosey, who was interviewed for a position on city council in mid-January, filed the complaint with the state this week claiming she was discriminated against by a member of council during her interview based on sex and familial status because she has an infant at home.
