Dozens of schools were closed on Tuesday, as DTE Energy crews continued to work to restore electricity to tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Metro Detroit. According to The Associated Press, 145,000 customers were without power this morning, two days after an ice storm wreaked havoc on the electrical grid.
